Clinical & Leadership Expertise

Dr. Bhatti serves as the Emergency Department Medical Director and Chair of a busy level II Trauma Center, Stroke, STEMI Center and ED approved for Pediatrics. He oversees clinical operations, patient safety, ED quality, and multidisciplinary performance improvement in a high-acuity setting. He is Board-Certified by ABEM and has practiced Emergency Medicine across the U.S., UK, and Europe.

Legal & Forensic Background

With a Master of Laws (LLM) in Medical Law & Ethics and a Diploma in Forensic Medical Sciences, Dr. Bhatti brings a rare combination of clinical, legal, and forensic expertise. He previously worked as a Forensic Medical Examiner (“Police Surgeon”) for police services in the United Kingdom, supporting mental health evaluations, custody medicine, and injury interpretation.

Global Emergency Medicine

Dr. Bhatti’s international experience includes dual EM training (CCT & FRCEM in the UK), service as a Medical Director of an ED, ambulance service, and air ambulance program in Malta, and his current role as a Visiting Consultant in Global Emergency Medicine, and ED Operations Consultant. He has contributed to EM development initiatives with a focus on low-to-medium income countries.

Education & Academic Involvement

He is core faculty for an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine Residency, actively involved in medical education, medicolegal training, and leadership development.
